After an embarrassing amount of research post-an inner bicep tattoo I ordered this numbing cream and was extremely relieved at how well it worked. My tattoo artist and I are working on a full arm sleeve and I knew I'd need something to help me with the super sensitive parts. Etaderm delivered. The texture and consistency are great too and it has minimal fragrance. I have very sensitive skin in relation to creams and lotions and I had no reaction whatsoever plus it numbed the part I needed it to numb for a full 2 hour session. 10/10 would recommend.

Helps but doesn't numb

I bought this for a top of the foot tattoo. Did it numb the area using as directed?
No. It definitely did help take the "bite" out,but you absolutely know you're getting the top of your foot tattooed. I will use it again for the other foot,but saying that it numbs the area...well..it doesn't. Take the edge off...it does.

Sat for a 6hr tattoo session, only started to actually feel my artist working at about 5hrs in. Even then was more than tolerable. Very pleased with the product and I highly recommend!

HOW TO USE

Step One:
Before applying, clean the region of your tattoo and, if necessary, shave it.

Step Two:
Apply a generous layer to the region, then rub it in completely until it is absorbed.

Step Three:
Cover the region in film (plastic wrap). The wrap stimulates the cream and keeps it from drying out. Leave cream and wrap on for 45 to 1 hour prior to visit for optimum numbing effect.
